📑 Terms & Moving Policies

1. Non-Binding Estimates

• All estimates are non-binding and based on the information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary based on actual time, labor, distance, and services performed on move day.

2. Booking Fee

• A $150 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your move date.

• This fee is applied toward your final balance.

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move time to avoid additional charges.
  
  

3. Payment Terms

• The remaining balance is due upon completion of services.

• Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, and credit/debit cards (processing fees of approximately 3%–3.5% may apply).
  
  

4. Access & Additional Charges 

• Additional charges may apply under certain conditions, including but not limited to:

• - Stairs (per flight)

• - Long carry distances

• - Heavy or specialty items (pianos, safes, etc.)

• - Limited access (elevators, narrow hallways, parking restrictions)

• Customers are responsible for ensuring clear access and appropriate parking at both pickup and delivery locations.
  
  

5. Customer Responsibilities ervices & Exclusions

• Customers are responsible for:

• - Securing and properly packing fragile or valuable items

• - Ensuring all items to be moved are ready at the scheduled time

• - Providing accurate inventory and move details prior to service
  
  

6. Liability Disclaimer 

• My Guy Movers is not responsible for:

• - Items not properly packed by the customer

• - Pre-existing damage to furniture or property

• - Loss or damage to cash, jewelry, documents, or other high-value items not disclosed prior to the move

• Customers are advised to secure and transport valuables separately.

7. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances 

• My Guy Movers is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

• In the event of a delay, we will communicate promptly and make every effort to accommodate and complete your move.
  
  

8. Refusal of Service

• We reserve the right to refuse transport of hazardous materials, illegal items, perishable goods, or any items deemed unsafe.
